This is how my love story began.

I was a freshman in college, and I had just moved into the dorms. The name is Jessica, by the way. Nice to meet you.

Anyway, on the first night, I heard a loud scream from the room next to mine.

I ran out of my bed and knocked on the door, wondering if someone was in trouble.

To my surprise, the door opened and I saw a handsome guy with messy brown hair and green eyes.

He looked at me with a confused expression and said, "Sorry, did I wake you up?" I nodded and asked him what happened.

He rubbed his eyes and said, "I had this weird dream that I was being chased by a giant chicken. It was terrifying." I couldn't help but laugh at his ridiculous dream.

He smiled sheepishly and said, "I guess I had this dream because I was excited because it was the first day of classes tomorrow.

You know, new beginnings and all that." He introduced himself as Jake and invited me in for a cup of coffee.

We ended up talking for hours, and I felt a connection with him that I had never felt before. He was funny, smart, kind, and adventurous.

He told me about his hobbies, his family, his goals, and his fears. He made me feel comfortable and happy.He made me feel alive.

That night, I fell in love with him. And that's how my love story began.
